I gotta get back to Hogwarts, I gotta get back to Schoool!!!!

Actually, not quite...

I LIVE AT MY SCHOOL NOW!

So, I've been at school for 11 days and I'm really loving being at a boarding school. It is actually the greatest experience I've ever had!
Anyway, living with your best friends is one of the best things ever, especially after you get over the homesickness. That was one of the worst bits, really; the Homesickness. On my first couple of days I felt pretty bad missing my parents. It was made even worse by the fact that I was completely new to boarding school and that the rest of the girls on my floor in the boarding house were already very close friends. But we're all really good friends now, so it's all good.
Lessons are going well, and the homework load isn't too bad either. I thought it would be bad upon starting my GCSEs, but it's all just as easy as last year in my old school. The work week is really weird. We have to get up at 7.30 (by this point at home I would have been on my way to school), be down at breakfast at eight and lessons start at 8.50. Lessons go on until 4 (or 4.30, depending on the fact if we have Games or PE at the end of day). We then have free time until 6, which is in-house time. Homework is from 7 until 9 and then lights out is at 10 for us year10s. It's a really good schedule and easy to get used to

My friends are really cool, and we've had so many laughs in the last couple of days. My roomies are all new to boarding, but myself and Gee are the only two new people. My other roomie, Tall Emma, is a day pupil turned flexi-boarder (meaning she boards during the week and goes home on Saturdays after lessons have finished. Our floormates (year 10 have a floor to themselves in our boarding house) are Shen, Hatty, Becca and Emma. They are all absolutely hilarious and we have the greatest time together.
My closest friends in the school are Ellen, Amelia and Rose who are in another house but it's right next door and we sneak over to each others' dorms in the middle of the night through "the passage" which is a corridor that connects our houses. They are the coolest people ever and I can talk to them about anything and everything. It's great because Ellen thought I was a little excitable but when we had the chance to chat to each other for a long time, she got to see the mature me which no one ever sees of me because I get too hyper when other people do. It's just nice to be able to chat like that.
The entire boarding house is really close. It's not unusual for one of the younger people (year 10s, basically) to be friends with girls in the Upper 6th. It's really good 'cause we're all like a big family. As it is, we year 10s are sat in the common room watching Johnny English on a big HD tv (so cool!) with a Year 12 girl and some others all watching along with us. It's so fun.
On Saturday evenings we have House Food and relaxation time in the common room (meaning we get Junk Food and watch Movies). Literally the entire house goes in to the common room and crams in to the sofas and on the floor, everywhere, and we eat ourselves sick. Last night we had ice cream and cakes and stuff and we watched "White Chicks" which was hilarious. Last week we had things like popcorn and sweets and stuff and watched my Michael McIntyre "Hello Wembley" DVD.
And, last Saturday, I was practicing one of my hip-hop routines down in the changing rooms (we have locker and changing rooms for the day-girls who are part of our house) and one of my room-mates was going to the kitchen (which is next to the changing rooms) and saw me busting a move and since then I have become a "celebrity" with my dancing in the houses! I'm now going to be dancing in the school talent competition for charity!

It's so exciting!

Also, I have a bit of exciting news! This school is a co-ed (mixed) school and as a result you get to know some boys. I only know a couple of boys so far, seeing as I don't really get the chance to meet them. Anyway, I was checking my pigeon hole to see if I had received any letters when I found a folded-up note in my pigeon hole. I took it out and out fell a necklace saying "gorgeous" and I read the note. It was a note from a secret admirer, which I thought was just so sweet! I felt so special that someone liked me enough to write a note to me and give me a necklace to show that they cared for me. I'm wearing the necklace now. I just really want to find out who it is! My friends are taking the piss, but in a loving way, and have all promised that it wasn't them.
Anyway, this school is genuinely the best experience I've ever had. Honestly, people, if you ever get the chance to go to boarding school, take that chance! You'll NEVER regret it! Of course you'll miss old friends and the like, but you can write to them and text them, etc.
